Bologna Conference
As part of the EU4Health-funded JA MENTOR project, the “Transforming Mental Health Through Lived Experience” conference will take place in Bologna, Italy, on May 7–8, 2026, aiming to bring lived reality into policy and practice. The event will convene European experts to implement a roadmap for integrating lived experience practitioners into mental health systems, strengthening recovery-oriented care and reducing stigma. Call for Submissions: MENTOR Catalogue Inventory
The Joint Action Mental Health Together – MENTOR, funded under the EU4Health Programme, has launched a Call for Submissions to identify and document community-based mental health practices across Europe through the MENTOR Catalogue Inventory. The Catalogue Inventory aims to create a European overview of non-clinical mental health and well-being initiatives that support prevention and early intervention, strengthen community resilience, and contribute to reducing mental health inequalities. It focuses on practices implemented outside the healthcare system, including actions in social, educational, and community settings. On 28 October 2025, JA MENTOR participated in the international conference “Health in Europe: Joint Actions, Joint Future”, held in Odense, Denmark. The event, organised by the Region of Southern Denmark in partnership with JA PreventNCD under the EU4Health programme, brought together representatives from multiple EU Joint Actions, policymakers, researchers, and health leaders to strengthen cooperation and address shared health challenges. On 9–10 October 2025, partners and stakeholders of the EU4Health Joint Action Mental Health Together (JA MENTOR) gathered in Warsaw, Poland, for the project’s first Consortium Forum, hosted by the National Health Fund (NFZ). The two-day event, held under the theme “Collecting Knowledge Across Europe,” marked an important milestone at the close of the project’s first year — a time to reflect on progress, exchange insights, and plan the next phase of joint action to promote mental health equity across Europe. EU4Health Joint Action MENTOR Celebrates First Anniversary
On 1 September 2025, the EU4Health-funded Joint Action MENTOR reached its first anniversary. The project started only a year ago, but it has already grown into a broad network working across Europe to strengthen mental health and well-being — an area of public health that is more important than ever. During the first year, MENTOR partners from over 20 countries have been busy turning plans into action. Several early deliverables have been completed, and activities are now running at full speed across the project’s six Work Packages.
